Hey guys,
First of all, what an awesome core-idea in terms of alternatives for remittances. A different way to make a difference that is realistic.
I (Johanna) find it interesting what happens with remittances. That this cashflow does not always mean its comes to its right end, when speaking of essentials in life. For many it is also ”a luxury chance” and a chaos to find the right way, insurance and so on.
Some day when we’re done with our university studies, we’ll probably try to start to make a difference in the Philippines too. But probably in another way and more about the environment, sustainability and livelihoods. After all, in order to treat yourself and future generations right, you need to treat your (natural) environment right (e.g. soil, water, forests etc.). Dreaming is okay, right?
